A Shiba Inu goes camping with its owner & enjoys the majestic mountain views via cable car

Japanese Shiba Inu "KABOSU-chan" (かぼすちゃん) became an internet sensation abroad after a photo of her dramatically expressive face went viral, leading to various image memes. This August, she rode in a stroller with her owner to camp at the Togakushi Campsite in Nagano Prefecture, enjoying overnight stays in a tent and taking a cable car ride to the mountaintop to admire the breathtaking scenery.

"KABOSU-chan" was once abandoned by her owner and nearly euthanized before being rescued by her current owner, which turned her life around. This summer vacation, she joined her owner on a three-day, two-night trip, enjoying a picnic on the grass and taking a cable car to the mountaintop to take in the sweeping mountain ranges and blooming lilies.

The Togakushi Campsite is located on Mount Togakushi. In summer, it's great for hiking, and in winter, due to snowfall, there’s a ski resort for skiing, making it a year-round destination. The area also features numerous attractions, such as the Togakushi Forest Botanical Garden, home to a variety of alpine plants that form forest trails and are habitat to many wild animals.Additionally, the Togakushi Folk Museum displays various items related to the ninja lifestyle, including clothing, food, and housing, along with interactive ninja houses and mazes for visitors to experience ninja life.
