When visiting Singapore, don’t just stop by the Merlion — you must come to Marina Bay Sands to admire its 57th-floor SkyPark and the world’s largest outdoor infinity pool. Swim in the pool and discover the secret behind its seemingly endless appearance. Both day and night views offer unique charm, making it absolutely worth the experience, unforgettable, and awe-inspiring.

The 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands is open to non-guests, but you need to purchase an observation deck ticket, and there are limits on the number of visitors. You can’t stay as long as you’d like. Guided tours also require advance booking.

From the 57th floor, the wind is strong and the view is amazing. No wonder this country is a major transportation hub — look at the ships on the sea, it's spectacular. The towering Marina Bay Sands and the shadows of its three towers are also impressive.

Wow~~ It’s the world’s largest outdoor infinity pool, which can accommodate 3,900 people, as the legend goes. Just seeing this makes it worth it.

Some people swim to the far end of the pool, quietly soaking in the feeling of swimming at such a height. What’s the secret behind the infinity pool?

The trick is revealed not just by looking down, but also from the side. There’s actually an extra channel that catches overflow water and serves as a safety feature. Once the secret’s out, it loses a bit of that thrilling magic.

As dusk approaches, the lounge chairs that were once crowded start to empty — people either get in the pool or leave. Finally, someone vacates a prime front-row lounger, so I grab the spot and move closer to the water. So great!! So beautiful!! Not sure if it’s the sun or sheer amazement, but I’m at a loss for words to describe the feeling.

By nightfall, there are still quite a few ships in the distance. The funnel-shaped structure in the middle is Gardens by the Bay, which officially opened on June 29, 2012, at a cost of over NT$23.3 billion. This photo was taken before it opened. The night view of the infinity pool is even more visually striking. With the building lights illuminated, the contrast of the scenery from above is stronger, amplifying the sensation of being 57 floors up.

Compared to the daytime, there are far fewer people, who have probably gone for dinner or headed to the casino.

The night view is no less stunning than the day view. The infinity pool is only for hotel guests, while visitors can only buy observation tickets and enjoy the view from the side. Plus, there are time restrictions on visits — essentially, you can only choose one of the day or night views, unless you time it perfectly during the dusk transition.

If you have the chance to visit Singapore, you must stay at Marina Bay Sands. Because only hotel guests are allowed to swim in the pool — compared to just viewing the scenery from the 57th floor, how could that possibly satisfy our curiosity?
