Group fun alert: “Giant” yellow duck and panda cub Yuan Zai now in Taoyuan too

Taoyuan has a “giant” yellow duck too! The Little World Theme Park has introduced a giant yellow duck placed in the “Mini Taiwan Area” at the Taichung Port. Although the duck is only 30 centimeters tall, compared to the even tinier harbor, boats, and visitors around it, it’s still a giant duck. The park has also shrunk “Yuan Zai” down to 2 centimeters, giving it an adorable small and cute look.

Little World explained that the yellow duck has created a global craze, and to give the northern residents a chance to enjoy it as well, they specially placed the duck in the mini Taichung Port within the park. Unlike the real-life version displayed in Kaohsiung, visitors can overlook the entire harbor structure and the duck from an elevated viewpoint, offering a unique perspective on the duck that's quite amusing.

The park has also brought in the wildly popular and extremely “cute” panda cub Yuan Zai. Operators noted that the park already had a “large” panda model that is only 1/25th the size of a real panda, and recently added an even smaller panda cub that is just 2 centimeters tall, placed next to the larger panda. It looks just like Yuan Zai snuggling up to its mother Yuan Yuan at the zoo—super cute and eye-catching.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Little World launched a free admission event for seniors over 65 and people with disabilities. Due to typhoon disruptions, the free event has been extended until September 30. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of this offer.
