EVA Air’s international services get another upgrade – Take a look at the Hollywood views from its new VIP lounge in Los Angeles

EVA Air’s international services have evolved once again. Starting September 25, the “Star Alliance,” of which EVA Air is a member, officially launched a new VIP lounge at Terminal B (TBIT) of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), offering services to first-class and business-class passengers of Star Alliance member airlines, as well as Star Alliance Gold card members.

The “Star Alliance” is currently the oldest and largest airline alliance, with the goal of improving operational efficiency and managing route networks, VIP lounges, ticketing services, and other benefits for its member airlines, thereby enhancing the quality of customer travel.

The newly launched VIP lounge covers an area of 1,675 square meters and is divided into a first-class zone and a business-class zone, capable of accommodating approximately 400 passengers. Its most distinctive feature is an open-air balcony facing the northern runway, featuring not only a fireplace and water wall design, but also offering outdoor views of airplanes flying overhead and distant sights of the Hollywood Hills. Additionally, the lounge offers a range of amenities including a bar, newspaper and magazine area, reading area, audiovisual zone, and shower rooms. The entire space is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, traditional and USB charging outlets, and provides services such as printing, faxing, photocopying, and tablet lending, ensuring that business travelers also enjoy a premium working environment while waiting for their flights.

Mark Schwab, Chief Executive Officer of Star Alliance, stated: “Using VIP lounges at airports around the world is one of the most valued benefits for our frequent flyer members. This brand-new lounge in Los Angeles is the best example of how the alliance can add service value and quality for individual airlines. We believe this top-tier facility will earn high praise and recognition from our passengers.”

As a member of the alliance, EVA Air placed special emphasis on this development. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony on the 23rd, it specially assigned Song Haijie, Assistant Manager of the Operations Department at its Taipei headquarters, to attend in Los Angeles. Song said he hopes the new space provided by the alliance will offer passengers a better service and environment, and he highly praised the design of the open-air balcony, which will allow passengers to fully enjoy the comfortable and pleasant Southern California weather before boarding.
