50th Anniversary of Old Master Q – Hualien Cultural and Creative Park to Host a “Cheers” Halloween Party

The “Alcohol Culture Experience Hall” within Hualien Cultural and Creative Park grandly opened on the 16th. Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the beloved character Old Master Q, created by renowned Chinese comic artist Wang Zhe, the park has also set up an “Old Master Q American-style Themed Bar” and an “Old Master Q Merchandise Pavilion.” They are launching the “Long Time No Cheers – Old Master Q’s Spooky Comic Dance Halloween Party,” where visitors can enjoy a selection of craft beers from around the world and party with Old Master Q this Halloween.

Hualien Cultural and Creative Park was once a public liquor factory. After redevelopment, it has been transformed into a hub for cultural creativity and performances. The “Alcohol Culture Experience Hall” is the largest single-building space in the park. On the opening day, Mr. Wang Zhe appeared alongside Old Master Q and Big Potato in non-traditional designs, interacting with guests. He stated that the existence of Old Master Q is meant to entertain everyone, and he hopes the public can fully enjoy the culture of beer in the humorous and lighthearted atmosphere brought by Old Master Q.

In addition to showcasing brewing equipment and a selection of craft beers from around the world, the Alcohol Culture Experience Hall also features the latest edition of Old Master Q figurines, unveiled for the first time by Mr. Wang Zhe, along with dozens of cultural and creative merchandise items. Park staff will also dress up as Old Master Q and Halloween-themed creatures, offering visitors a uniquely fun Halloween experience.
