The 2013 Taipei International Travel Fair (ITF) grandly opened on the 18th, and the Anhui Provincial Tourism Association of mainland China also organized a large-scale visiting group to come to Taiwan for inspection and to promote cross-strait tourism exchanges. In the afternoon of the 18th, the delegation visited Eastern Travel Agency, Eastern Home Shopping, and Sen Sen Department Store to tour and exchange views. The head of the delegation, She Defu, Director of the Market Development Division of the Anhui Provincial Tourism Bureau, stated that last year, 680,000 people from Taiwan traveled to Anhui, with Huangshan and Jiuhua Mountain being the most frequently visited places by Taiwanese tourists. Anhui also has many other well-known scenic spots that are definitely worth visiting.

Eastern Travel Agency and Eastern Home Shopping, both under the Eastern Group, have long been engaged in the television channel sales of travel products and are the largest travel product TV shopping channel in Taiwan. Their successful business model attracted the "Anhui Provincial Tourism Association" to visit for cooperation and exchange. Taking advantage of the 2013 Taipei International Travel Fair, they visited the headquarters of Eastern Home Shopping, where they were received by Eastern Travel Chairman Lin Guojun and Eastern Home Shopping Associate Manager Hong Maoguang.

In addition to head She Defu, the visiting delegation from the Anhui Provincial Tourism Association included deputy heads such as Wang Wei, Director of Suzhou City Tourism Bureau; Chen Yan, Director of Huainan City Tourism Bureau; Zhang Jian, Director of Chizhou City Tourism Bureau; and He Xinhua, Director of Anqing City Tourism Bureau, as well as professors from Hefei University, Chizhou University, and Anhui University of Finance and Economics, and 13 travel agencies including Huangshan Zhongqing International Travel Agency, making it the largest delegation among all mainland visiting groups.

She Defu, who had just taken office not long ago, immediately took action by leading the delegation to Taiwan for inspection. He stated that Taiwan can fly directly to Huangshan and Hefei, and Anhui has a comprehensive network of expressways and high-speed railways, making transportation very convenient. In addition to world-renowned Huangshan and Jiuhua Mountain, Anhui also has many other fun places to visit. He Xinhua, Director of Anqing City Tourism Bureau, strongly recommended Tianzhu Mountain as a magical tourist destination, while other cities also introduced their respective famous scenic spots, welcoming Taiwanese travelers to come and visit.
