Taipei International Travel Fair / Don’t Miss Out!: Top 3 Must-See Performances at the Fair

Taipei International Travel Fair enters its second day, crowds have flooded in early for the shopping frenzy. This year’s (2013) fair also features many exciting performances, with various booths showcasing their own mascots as well as inviting impressive acts from Korea, Japan, the United States, and other countries. ETtoday EBC News has handpicked three must-see performances at the fair. For those who want to make the most of their ticket without breaking the bank and witness classic performances from around the world, don’t miss this chance.

Show HERO   Invited by the Korea Tourism Organization, “Show HERO” combines improvisational painting that defies traditional expectations with popular dance styles such as Hip Hop and Popping. They not only create on-site high-difficulty traditional Chinese-style paintings but also flip their canvas to depict “Bruce Lee,” finally using just four colors of paintbrushes to collaboratively complete a portrait of “Gangnam Uncle,” leaving the audience in awe.



Great Ieyasu “Aoi” Warriors Troupe
The Aoi Warriors Troupe from Okazaki, Japan, showcases the boldness and sharpness of samurai during the Tokugawa Ieyasu era. The trio of leading warriors begin with a Kabuki-style opening speech on stage, followed by waving large double-sided flags and launching into a series of battle dances. They then invite the audience to join in the rhythm and even demonstrate the sword techniques of warriors from the Warring States period.




Anime Singer Masanori Kobayashi Concert
The Japan Tourism Association has invited renowned Japanese anime singer Masanori Kobayashi to perform live anime theme songs. His unique vocal style and voice electrify the audience. In addition to his performance, Kobayashi also shares insights and thoughts on singing anime songs. A must-see for anime fans.
