Lucky Air’s maiden flight to the mainland – Kaohsiung–Shanghai three times weekly

Shanghai-based Juneyao Air launched direct flights from Shanghai to Kaohsiung, Taiwan on November 1, and plans to begin direct flights from Shanghai to Taipei one month later on December 1. To celebrate the new routes, Juneyao Air will also launch a series of promotional campaigns including discounted tickets, giveaways, and lucky draws on its official website, official Weibo, WeChat social platform, and Sina.com.

On November 1, Juneyao Air opened a direct flight route from Shanghai to Kaohsiung, operating flights every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The flights depart from Kaohsiung Airport at 14:50 and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 17:00. Starting December 1, it will also open a direct route to Taipei, operating flights every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Flights depart from Taipei Taoyuan Airport at 13:20 and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 15:05, using an A-320 aircraft.

To celebrate the launch of Taiwan routes, Juneyao Air has introduced several promotions. These include participating in interactive activities such as quizzes on the official Juneyao Air website, the “Ruyixing” mobile app, Juneyao Air’s official Weibo and WeChat platforms, and the special “Romantic Seaside, Meeting Across the Straits” Taiwan edition on Sina.com. Participants have the chance to win free round-trip economy class tickets to either Kaohsiung or Taipei, Taiwan.

Additionally, from the start of Taiwan operations, inbound passengers arriving in Shanghai from Taiwan can receive a complimentary Maglev ticket from Pudong Airport to downtown Shanghai when purchasing specified cabin classes.
From November 1 to November 13, passengers on the first six round-trip flights between Kaohsiung and Shanghai can also enjoya starting price of4,000 yuan

(taxes excluded) for round-trip travel.
For business travelers who frequently travel, Juneyao Air also offers a “Taiwan Travel Ticket Pack” sales policy. Passengers who purchase eight economy class (M class) round-trip tickets to Taiwan in one go can enjoy the “Taiwan Travel Ticket Pack” promotion at a minimum price of 76,645 yuan, equivalent to under 10,000 yuan for a direct round-trip from Shanghai.
