The Yellow Rubber Duck hasn’t arrived in Keelung yet, but the Yellow Duck Sightseeing Passport is here first

The Yellow Rubber Duck’s exhibition in Taoyuan has been “anything but calm,” and its next stop will be Keelung. However, before the duck even arrives, Keelung City has launched the “Yellow Rubber Duck Sightseeing Passport” in advance. It features a collection of local food and entertainment hotspots, shop discounts, and transportation information. The city plans to release the first batch of 100,000 passports by the end of November, with each priced at no more than NT$50.

Organizers stated that the Yellow Rubber Duck will arrive in Keelung on December 21 and is expected to generate over NT$1 billion in business. To ensure visitors have an unforgettable experience while viewing the duck in Keelung, they have specially created the Yellow Duck Sightseeing Passport, which includes discounts from various shops related to food, clothing, accommodation, and transportation. The passport also provides detailed introductions to Keelung’s tourist attractions, allowing visitors to not only see the duck but also explore Keelung more deeply.

The issuing organization noted that aside from providing travel information, the Duck Passport also aims to attract 500 merchants, hoping to offer the public discounts worth nearly NT$10,000. Currently priced under NT$50, it is considered great value. The public can stay tuned for more details before the end of this month.
