The Piedmont region in northern Italy lies within the Alpine foothills, surrounded by mountains on three sides, and is famed for its wine production. Among them, the town of Monferrato is not only covered with vineyards but also serves as a major supply hub for Alba white truffles. When autumn arrives, the hazelnut, oak, and chestnut trees in the area change colors in unison—reds, oranges, yellows, greens, and purples pile up, making the foothills look as if draped in a colorful layer of feathers.

Alba in the Piedmont region is a major hub for white truffle production, with its truffle quality recognized as top-tier worldwide. Since 1929, the annual Truffle Festival has been held every autumn, featuring not only truffle auctions and market stalls but also combined with traditional celebrations such as “Donkey Race” and “Wine God Welcoming Ceremony,” attracting gourmets from around the world to experience this stylish yet deeply local Piedmont festival.
