Top-ranked Emirates Airlines set to take off – Flights from Taiwan to Europe start from NT$15,400

Emirates Airlines, frequently ranked as the world’s top airline in international evaluations, will officially launch its Taipei–Dubai route in February 2014. To celebrate the new service, Emirates is offering a variety of flight deals, including trips to Europe from just NT$15,400 (excluding tax). Examples include Taipei–Paris for around NT$31,000 (tax included), Prague (Czech Republic) for approximately NT$28,000 (tax included), and great value flights from Taipei to Manchester (UK) and back from Rome (Italy) for under NT$30,000 (tax included).

The Emirates fare promotion runs until December 31, with departures between February 10 and June 12, 2014. In addition, economy class passengers departing from Taiwan can check in up to 30 kg of luggage, while those traveling to South America can check in up to 64 kg. The airline also allows connections with low-cost carriers.

Starting in February 2014, there will be six direct flights per week between Taipei and Dubai, providing Taiwanese travelers with a new option for reaching Europe. In addition to the existing routes via Hong Kong or Bangkok to Europe, travelers can now also consider flying from Dubai to destinations in Europe, the Americas, and Africa.

Also known as Emirates, the airline was founded in 1985 with its headquarters in Dubai. It was the first Middle Eastern carrier to offer direct flights from Taiwan and has rapidly risen in prominence in recent years, earning recognition in numerous airline ratings.
