The cozy, warm, and hospitable “Come to My Place” may not reveal its true nature at first glance—but inside, it’s actually a tranquil space that blends art and culture. Almost all the brunch items are handmade, and from the food to the little details of the space, guests are treated to a homey, thoughtful experience. It’s a beloved brunch spot among office workers along Nanjing West Road in Taipei.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Nanjing West Road, “Come to My Place” is right next to the Zhongshan Station shopping district. Store manager Wang Kanghua said, “When I was a kid, weekends at home were all about the whole family gathering together to enjoy brunch made by mom. We’ve just brought that kind of food and atmosphere into the store.” She added that during recent food safety concerns, the brunch and pancake-centric dishes are all things her family loves and can eat with peace of mind. They also try to use handmade elements wherever possible, all to ensure the food that reaches customers is safe and worry-free.
The “Pan-Fried Chicken Fillet Brunch” uses chicken fillets marinated in a variety of Italian spices for a full day, cooked only when ordered—resulting in juicy, non-greasy meat. It’s paired with a lemon potato salad with hidden apple chunks, which is flavorful and refreshing. You can also try seasonal fruits drizzled with mango yogurt sauce, and in winter, the vegetables are thoughtfully served warm—all perfectly in line with the spirit of “Come to My Place.”

The “Classic Continental Brunch” is arguably a “must-order classic.” The runny sunny-side-up egg uses organic eggs, paired with perfectly pan-fried bacon, German sausage, and ham—a simple yet nutritious and delicious meal. For sandwich lovers, the “Beef Short Rib Sandwich” is recommended. A crispy, thick slice of toast holds beef short rib cubes that are first pan-fried to medium-rare, then grilled to medium-well, seasoned with mustard seed sauce, and served in just the right portion. Additionally, the shop offers up to six types of bread to choose from, such as the hearty ciabatta made with Italian olive oil, and soft French toast.

“Come to My Place” not only offers a lazy, comfortable space and carefully prepared food, but its spacious walls are occasionally lent out for free to host personal photography or painting exhibitions. Wang Kanghua said, “We understand that these up-and-coming dreamers need a stage, and the artworks displayed here can also spark interaction and connection with our guests.”
