Help send a letter to Santa Claus – New Taipei City’s Happy Christmas Town Post Office opens on the 22nd

New Taipei City’s Happy Christmas Town will light up and officially open on November 22. The city government has specially invited Banciao Post Office to set up a Christmas cabin, which will provide basic postal services from the opening day until January 5 of next year. Most notably, the post office will help the public send 300 letters to Santa Claus in Santa’s Village in Finland, and on the 23rd, it will also distribute 500 limited-edition free Christmas postcards.

During the Happy Christmas Town event, the “Christmas Post Office” will be open weekdays from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and extended to 10:00 PM on weekends. Visitors can write down their wishes, and on December 7, the Christmas Post Office will help send 300 letters for free to Santa Claus in Santa’s Village in Finland. The event will also launch three limited-edition commemorative “official envelopes” and postmarks, and six specially designed Christmas postcards will be available for sale on-site.

The city government stated that the event site will also offer a customized stamp service. Visitors just need to provide the digital files of photos taken with them in the romantic lighting area, and they can immediately get their own unique stamps. The city government also pointed out that after the lighting ceremony on the 22nd, there will also be the “A Child Comes to Stroll” event on the 30th and the “Circus Parade” on December 14.
