Located near Exit 9 of Hongik University Station in Seoul, Thanks Nature Café is situated on the basement level of a building along the way to Hongik University. It’s easy to miss if you’re not paying close attention. The interior features wooden tables and chairs, accented by green potted plants of all sizes. The café’s décor and its commitment to using fresh, natural ingredients reflect its name “Thanks Nature,” and it offers both indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Also nicknamed the “sheep café,” Thanks Nature Café not only has sheep-themed decorations and displays throughout, but its most distinctive feature is the two cute sheep raised by the owner in a corner of the outdoor seating area. Enclosed by wooden fences and equipped with a small wooden hut, this space provides a little home for the two adorable sheep. Guests can choose to sit in the outdoor area to enjoy the café’s desserts and coffee, occasionally getting up to interact with the sheep. The café staff also regularly clean the sheep’s living area to prevent any unpleasant odors from affecting diners. The two sheep are sometimes brought out by the owner for some “fresh air” to breathe freely.

The sheep café became wildly popular after the third season of the hit Korean reality show “We Got Married,” where the fictional couple known as the “Dimple Couple”—composed of Super Junior leader Leeteuk and actress Kang Sora—filmed here, attracting a wave of fans who came to pay homage.
