Vanilla Air launches a limited-time Taipei-Tokyo one-way ticket sale for just NT$388 starting December 4

Japan’s Vanilla Air announced on November 28 that it will officially begin selling winter flight tickets in Taiwan starting at 14:00 on December 4, with flights commencing on December 20. To celebrate the launch in Taiwan, the airline is also offering a special limited-time promotion called “Heartbeat Vanilla,” featuring Taipei–Tokyo one-way tickets for a special price of NT$388 (tax excluded). The sale runs from 14:00 on December 4 to 13:59 on December 5.
At the press conference, Vanilla Air Chairman Ishii Tomoyoshi first apologized for the previous incident where the airline’s website had blocked Taiwanese IP addresses, and promised to provide Taiwanese consumers with a variety of discount plans and high-quality services going forward.

In addition to the special offer fares, Vanilla Air has also introduced ticket options under the “Colorful Vanilla” and “Original Vanilla” schemes.The Original Vanilla one-way ticket from Taipei to Tokyo starts at NT$3,000, while the Colorful Vanilla option, which allows for ticket refunds and seat selection, starts at NT$3,750. In addition to the Taipei–Tokyo route, Vanilla Air will also launchthe Tokyo–Okinawa route on December 20, the Tokyo–Sapporo route on January 29, 2014, and the Tokyo–Seoul route on March 1.
