Located at a high altitude, Wuling Farm had just entered its autumn foliage season when the footsteps of winter quickly followed. This morning on the 2nd, due to low temperatures and moisture, frost blanketed various areas of the farm. A photo of the frost in one corner of the park was posted online, leaving many netizens amazed by its beauty.

Taiwan’s strongest cold front this year hit the island, bringing low temperatures across the country. Wuling Farm, situated at an altitude of 1,700 to 2,000 meters, was not spared from the chill. Around 5 a.m. this morning, a thin layer of frost covered the area, creating a stunning silver-white landscape that almost made the farm’s patrol staff think it had snowed. Farm workers explained that due to the high altitude, nighttime temperatures in recent days have consistently hovered between 1 and 2 degrees Celsius. Frost has often occurred after winter sets in, but this year’s frost appeared earlier than usual.
