“Every girl has her own dream coffee shop,” says Deputy Manager Chen Cheng-ju, describing the shop’s Gen Z owner. Dreams are beautiful, and making them come true requires hard work. The owner turned her dream into reality — just step inside and take a look at the tofu-shaped chair under the bar counter, and you’ll get a glimpse of her philosophy. Chen Cheng-ju explains that nearly all the décor uses Taiwanese-designed items, as she hopes to contribute something back to her homeland.

Customers at Läbu often spend an entire afternoon with just a cup of coffee. The baristas craft adorable animal latte art, carefully embellishing each customer’s mood. For food, the “Special Italian Omelet” is highly recommended — actually an extension of a baked egg dish, it uses plenty of greens, onions, beef tomatoes, and bacon, mixed with eggs, milk, and salsa sauce, then baked in the oven until thick and hearty. The eggs blend with the vegetables for a moist texture and rich aroma. The “Grilled Steak Sandwich” features premium beef that doesn’t require marination. Topped with Mexican chili and cheese, it highlights the meat’s natural flavor, paired with a chewy ciabatta bun for a deliciously simple meal.
