A well-known domestic website has launched the “2013 Top 10 Most Romantic Christmas Attractions in Taiwan” voting campaign, showcasing the ten most popular Christmas spots chosen by netizens.

1. New Taipei City Happy Christmas Town
The New Taipei City Happy Christmas Town lit up its lights on November 22. The tallest Christmas tree in Taiwan, standing at 35.5 meters, transforms into a music box. In addition to a 3-minute and 55-second musical light show, there are also children’s theater performances, a “Child Comes Strolling” event, and a Christmas circus parade. This series of joyful and touching activities is perfect for couples.

2. Kaohsiung Dream Mall

3. Taichung Chingmei Christmas Village
Chingmei Eslite has also decorated with colorful Christmas installations, turning the entire Eslite Greenway into a Christmas village under the theme “Christmas Circus Madness.” Breaking away from the traditional image of a Christmas tree, the decoration focuses on a circus theme, featuring clowns, top hats, playing cards, and a red-and-white color scheme. This creative setup attracts more imaginative visitors to take photos and commemorate a unique Christmas style during the holiday season.

4. Kaohsiung Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral (Christmas Mass)
Located by the Love River in Kaohsiung, the Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral is the first Catholic church in Taiwan and is listed as a third-grade historic site due to its historical and artistic value. The towering cathedral features elegant and delicate Gothic architecture, with stained glass windows creating a solemn and sacred atmosphere.

5. Tainan Literature Museum Roundabout
Every year at the end of the year, a dazzlingly lit Christmas tree is erected at the roundabout in front of the National Museum of Taiwanese Literature. The entire roundabout area includes the Fire Department, Taiping Christian Church, the City Police Bureau, and a Catholic church, all of which are beautifully decorated for Christmas. 10. Christmas Lane & Christmas Park in Beitou, Taipei City
Located on Shipai Road in Taipei City, “Christmas Lane” is an annual event organized by the local San’ai Church in collaboration with residents of Jiqing Li. The lane is illuminated with a sparkling sea of lights, creating a warm and lively festive atmosphere. Over the past decade, it has become a beloved local Christmas tradition. Nearby Fuxing Li has also created a Christmas Park, decorated with three-dimensional light displays featuring Christmas trees, gifts, and cartoon characters. The dreamy, romantic ambiance and community spirit have made Shipai Road in Beitou a unique Christmas attraction.
