From June 1 to 11, the Far East Café Buffet at Shangri-La's Far Eastern International Hotel Taipei will present the “Explore the Philippines: A Culinary Journey” food event. Featuring guest chef Leopoldo Tumandao Jr. from Makati Shangri-La, Manila, the event showcases a variety of authentic Filipino dishes. Must-try recommendations include raw fish salad with tamarind, crispy roasted suckling pig, lemongrass chicken with ginger grilled over charcoal, seafood paella, Filipino spring rolls, grilled pork ear spring rolls, and tropical fruit spring rolls.
