For the ultimate summer cool-down battle, Taichung’s ice shop Faidai Ark has rolled out two uniquely designed ice treats using today’s hottest 3D printing technology to tailor-make them. These one-of-a-kind, exquisitely hand-pressed snowflake ice desserts are not only stunningly beautiful but will absolutely steal your heart.

The first treat is “The Ark,” designed based on the shop’s concept. Modeled after Noah’s Ark, it faithfully recreates the real appearance of the biblical vessel and conveys the spirit the Ark represents. Featuring the widely loved mango flavor that melts in your mouth and delivers exceptional taste, it also comes with seasonal fresh fruits, plus handcrafted raspberry and mango ice cream. It’s further topped with chewy pearls and butterfly pea flower jelly—known as a natural food coloring agent—as well as mini dolphin cookies for a multi-layered texture experience.

The second treat is the beautifully romantic mermaid. The mermaid sitting gracefully on the rock resembles a true artwork. Her elegant curves are crafted from smooth, delicate milk snowflake ice, while the rock is made of rich yet not overly sweet milk tea. It’s paired with handmade vanilla and mango ice cream for a quartet of flavors in one bite. What’s special is that the shop has shaped Madeleines into seashells—the original and matcha flavors offer a soft yet firm texture. It’s all finished off with chewy pearls and butterfly pea flower jelly in ocean hues, making it incredibly eye-catching.
