Is the Li Shan Hotel — known as the “Palace Closest to the Sky” — snowing? Actually, the hotel creates a “snow show” in the morning and evening whenever the temperature drops below 6°C to let visitors truly experience the scenery of snowfall in the high mountains. Also, the teddy bears from Taichung that have temporarily “returned to the mountains” are staying here. Travelers visiting Li Shan Hotel recently might want to compose a winter love song with these adorable teddy bears.

Located at an altitude of 2,000 meters, Li Shan Hotel is praised as the “Palace Closest to the Sky” in Taiwan. Once winter arrives, temperatures drop to just 2 or 3°C, and the distant snowy peaks of Snow Mountain are covered in white mist, prompting many visitors to ask, “Does it snow in Li Shan too?” To fulfill visitors’ wishes of being in a world of falling snow and tocreate a festive Christmas atmosphere, Li Shan Hotel has specially introduced three snow machines, which will produce a snow show whenever the temperature falls below 6°C.!

The white snowflakes falling in front of the palace coat the ground and rooftops with a frosty white, leaving visitors exclaiming, “So beautiful!” Two teddy bears from Taichung that have temporarily settled here will also keep visitors company in Li Shan until Christmas. Meanwhile, a newly created 3D light projection show titled “Santa Claus Is Coming” will premiere on Christmas Eve. The Old Church will be transformed into Santa Claus, presenting a dreamy dinner under the stars every night during the event at 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM, and 8:30 PM.
