The new Sichuan-style spicy hot pot brand "Malaoda" under the Wowprime Group has officially opened. There are three soup base options to choose from.

The new brand under the Wowprime Group, the Sichuan-style spicy hot pot "Malaoda," officially opened on May 29. With themed meals starting at NT$128 and the most expensive option, the "Invincible Beef Trio," priced at NT$218, the average spending per customer is around NT$200. As a result, the opening attracted a large crowd eager to try it out. The first Malaoda outlet is located on Meicun Road in West District, Taichung City.

Malaoda offers three types of soup bases: Dahongpao, Ganmaxiang, and Nongtungu. Dahongpao is made with 20 kinds of Sichuan spices, including seven or eight different types of chili peppers. It is refined using low-temperature techniques and aged in an infused oil for 30 days, then stir-fried and slow-cooked for two hours. Ganmaxiang is a dry-tossed flavor suitable for those who prefer a stronger "numbing" taste, featuring a unique combination of spicy sesame sauce and spicy fermented tofu. For those who can't handle spicy food, there's also the Nongtungu soup base, which is richly simmered with pork bones, chicken skeletons, and a variety of vegetables and fruits, and has a thick aroma of black and white sesame sauce.

In addition to the main dishes, the store also offers six value-for-money themed meals: Invincible Beef Trio (NT$218), Popular Beef Boss (NT$168), Q-Tender Pork (NT$168), Tender Chicken Strips (NT$168), Deep-Sea Squid Rolls (NT$168), and "No Meat Today" (NT$128). For à la carte items, there are vegetables/mushrooms, dumplings/balls, meat/offal, noodles/rice, and drinks, priced between NT$10 and NT$50.
