Best photo spot hotel ever: ultra-realistic 3D landscapes & white-water rafting at Lili Zheyuan Hotel in Hualien

To welcome the summer vacation, Lili Zheyuan Hotel’s Hualien branch has launched the “Hualien 3D Landscape Art Festival.” Using 3D landscape art, the hotel has created a sky bridge and white-water rafting experience, making it an alternative and highly photogenic destination in Hualien.

Cai Zong-yi, chairman of Lili Tourism, said that to allow visitors to experience Hualien’s local characteristics as soon as they arrive, the hotel specially invited Taiwanese rising designer Chen Yan-xu—who previously transformed the Presidential Office’s exhibition space with a 3D corridor—to personally design three major 3D landscape artworks in the hotel. These include the popular challenge of white-water rafting on the Shoufeng River, the dreamy Taroko “sky bridge,” and Hualien’s famous “Manta Ray.” By combining 3D visual technology with creative art, the hotel has directly replicated and transplanted Hualien’s popular attractions indoors. The goal is to offer every visitor an extraordinary summer vacation experience.

In response to the 3D landscape painting art trend, the Hualien branch has also launched a summer highlight: the “Summer Painting” accommodation package. The double room package starts at a discounted rate of NT$2,399; the four-person room package starts at NT$3,899. Guests can enjoy “Happy Hour snacks” upon check-in and receive a “Painting DIY Mug Kit,” allowing them to experience the joy of painting art firsthand. For guests staying in a four-person room, an additional “3D Landscape Magnet Puzzle Set” is gifted, letting you take a piece of 3D landscape art home and preserve beautiful summer memories. Yang Fu-man, resident manager of Lili Zheyuan Hotel—Hualien Branch, said whether for family fun, couple honeymoons, or trips with friends, she hopes the Hualien branch will become a new iconic photo spot for travelers.
