The yellow duck in Keelung that burst recently has been repaired and tested. Since the "surgery" was performed internally, there are no obvious "scars" on the "post-op" yellow duck. It was launched back into Keelung Harbor early on the 3rd, just in time for the weekend. Keelung Harbor is expected to see another wave of duck-spotters, and local street vendors can finally breathe a sigh of relief!

The yellow duck was hoisted and launched into the water at 9:30 am, slowly drifting into the waters in front of Ocean Plaza. Visitors to Keelung Harbor today can once again see the adorable yellow duck. Although the crack from the earlier burst measured as long as 8 meters, the manufacturer, Atmosphere Co., worked day and night to repair it. The restored yellow duck made its second public appearance yesterday afternoon without any visible scars.

In addition, to effectively solve the issue of the duck bursting, Atmosphere Co. has added two more holes to the duck’s rear and increased the number of blowers from four to five to help regulate the internal pressure.
