A thousand-pound "cream sculpture" debuts — beware of stepping on poop at the Pennsylvania Farm Show

The largest indoor agricultural exhibition in the United States — the "Pennsylvania Farm Show" — kicked off on January 4. It attracts at least 400,000 visitors, 6,000 animals, and 10,000 exhibitors every year. The reason this week-long exhibition draws such a huge crowd is its vibrant and diverse array of activities, including cattle and pig displays, dessert competitions, food courts, educational programs... and more. Spanning 24 acres and divided into three main zones, there’s plenty of food and fun for the whole family.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the milkshake, the Farm Show specially used one thousand pounds of cream to create a rare "cream sculpture". The warm, rich yellow of the cream captures a festive atmosphere of people and animals, bringing joy to all who see it.

▲ The food court offers a variety of treats, such as baked cookies, ice cream, milkshakes, fried cheese, roasted potatoes, pies, tarts... with proceeds going to agricultural-related non-profit organizations.

The 98th Farm Show runs from January 4 to January 11. If you’re planning to come, remember not to wear your best shoes — this place is "littered with gold," and you’re bound to step on some animal poop !
