On the eve of the holiday season, AirAsia X has launched its first early bird pre-sale promotion of the year. Gao Geqiao, marketing manager for AirAsia Taiwan, said: “The earlier you purchase an early bird ticket, the greater the discount. Booking your flight and planning your trip in advance is the best way to save on travel expenses—and the money you save can be redirected to other parts of your journey.” From now until January 19, one-way flights to Kuala Lumpur start from just NT$1,355 (excluding tax), while one-way flights via Kuala Lumpur to major Australian cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, and the Gold Coast start from NT$2,495 (excluding tax). Travel dates are valid from April 1, 2014, to September 30, 2014, covering the peak summer travel season. Travelers are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to plan their mid-year trips early.
