Travelers, rejoice！ American Airlines is increasing overhead bin space on its flights.

Every traveler knows that the most frustrating part of boarding isn’t the long wait in line, but discovering upon finally getting on the plane that all the overhead luggage compartments are already full. Why does this happen? Because many people only bring carry-on bags. Now, some U.S. airlines have started adjusting their checked baggage space.

According to the Lonely Planet website,American Airlines has increased luggage space on its 200 A321 Airbus planes, which means a 40% increase compared to before. This new move not only reduces passenger disputes but also speeds up the boarding process, as travelers no longer have to crowd the aisles.

However, passengers should note that those flying on American Airlines’ budget carrier should be aware that it is one of the stricter U.S. airlines when it comes to limiting the number of carry-on bags for basic economy passengers.

In fact, insufficient luggage space is a challenge many airlines have to address, and different companies have varying policies. Passengers must pay special attention before purchasing tickets.
