Go rafting and sightseeing in the water ! A U.S. hotel builds a “river” on the 29th-floor rooftop

It’s not uncommon for hotels to have pools, but creating a “river” is something special. A hotel in Houston, Texas, USA, came up with the unique idea of building an “artificial rafting river” on its rooftop, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing float in the water while taking in the city views.

According to the UK’s The Sun, the Marriott Marquis in Houston, Texas, has built a 530-foot-long (approximately 161-meter) “artificial rafting river” on its 29th floor. Guests can stroll along the riverbanks or sit in inner tubes to enjoy the rafting experience, complete with splashing waterfalls and jets of water.

For guests who prefer not to raft, there is also an infinity pool overlooking Discovery Green Park nearby. Tired of water activities? The rooftop also features a bar and barbecue area, offering guests a relaxing afternoon of leisure.
