Hualien County Route 193, known as “Taiwan’s most beautiful highway,” is now bursting with color. Both the flame trees and the golden rain trees are entering their most vibrant blooming period, painting the road in a spectrum of hues. With graduation season approaching, why not come here and create wonderful memories with the crimson flame trees?

The scenery along County Route 193 is stunning, and as the seasons change, you can enjoy rich natural colors at any time. Between kilometers 108 and 109 of the route, you can see golden yellow golden rain trees swaying in the air. A few trees have already begun to bloom, and they are expected to reach their most beautiful moment by the end of June. At that time, when you look up here, you’ll be greeted by a whole sky of gold.

Another scenic spot is located at kilometer 96 of the county road. Every June, it serves as a reminder to students about to embark on the next stage of life – the fiery red flame trees. There are already four or five trees along the road that are in full, lush bloom, and they are also expected to reach their most beautiful moment between mid-June and the end of the month. When the flame trees are in full bloom, they transform both sides of the road into a natural, fiery red barrier that shines brilliantly in the sunlight, making it another unmissable sight in Hualien during June.
