Singapore was recently named one of the top 10 best travel destinations in Asia for 2017 by travel magazine Lonely Planet. So, what are the must-visit attractions in Singapore? Singapore Airlines has unveiled its latest in-flight safety video, taking viewers beyond the traditional cabin setting as flight attendants guide passengers on a journey through the charm and culture of Singapore.

In collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, the airline aims to promote inbound and transit tourism to Singapore while showcasing the beauty of this city-state to a global audience. The video follows Singapore Airlines flight attendants to iconic landmarks such as Boat Quay, the Peranakan Museum, River Wonders, Haji Lane, Adventure Cove Waterpark, Henderson Waves, Capitol Theatre, and Gardens by the Bay.

At each location, the flight attendants encounter different characters and participate in various activities, creatively demonstrating the in-flight safety instructions. Campbell Wilson, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Singapore Airlines, said that compared to the more traditional approaches used in the past, the new safety video is more engaging for passengers and effectively presents the safety information. At the same time, the video proudly showcases popular attractions in Singapore, where the airline is headquartered, to audiences around the world.

Lynette Pang, Assistant Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board, noted that Singapore Airlines’ new safety video combines the city’s vibrant culture and attractions with safety instructions, delivering a warm and refreshing experience. It not only captivates millions of Singapore Airlines passengers while keeping them informed about the latest safety guidelines but also unveils the endless possibilities of exploring Singapore. The new safety video will begin airing on Singapore Airlines flights by the end of this year.
