A gentle morning breeze caresses softly

Delicate petals drift with the wind

The traveler has missed them

Even... if there’s no moment of petals swirling through the sky...

The first bloom of

late winter to early spring

A pink-hued romance quietly unveils its floral prelude

Xiaobantian’s Kazamatsuri Cherries… in bloom…

Hiding inside a small car

Waiting for the thin mist to gradually lift

Leaving behind a blue sky to keep the traveler company

Gently opening the car door

Afraid of accidentally harming the flowers

Because… the pink blossoms are so close to us…

Within arm’s reach… to touch and stroke


(Hopefully you won’t be the one touching the flowers without permission in 2014 again…)

Kazamatsuri cherries surround the wooden gazebo, blooming freely

People stroll among them, soaking in the beauty of full bloom

At this moment… the traveler is left speechless

Perhaps it’s today’s low mood





Or maybe… unable to find a single suitable story to write about…?

Circling the flowers over and over yet unable to make sense of it all

Envying those who effortlessly capture emotions in every word and line


Able to simply hide within the blank spaces

And so… the traveler keeps their distance…
