Valentine’s Day “Love You Forever” – Hotel Promotions to Woo Couples

This year’s Western Valentine’s Day coincides with the homophone “2014 Love You Forever,” adding an extra layer of romance to the occasion. Hotels have jumped on the bandwagon early, rolling out room and package deals to attract couples. Whether in guest rooms or on-site restaurants, they’re creating sweet atmospheres to capture lovers’ hearts.

The Grand Hotel Taipei has launched the “Love You Forever, Together Forever” Valentine’s package for February 14. The hotel reserves window seats in the Song Le Xuan restaurant for each couple, where they can enjoy live music while savoring the chef’s special main course: Australian lobster with rich cheese sauce, paired with unlimited red and white wine, as well as a buffet of Chinese, Western, and Japanese dishes in the Song He Hall. After the meal, the chef presents each table with a box of handmade chocolates. The package costs NT$1,799+10% per person. Additionally, The Grand Hotel Taipei offers the “Happiness Forever” package, designed for families celebrating Valentine’s Day together, at NT$999+10% per person. In addition to a selection of buffet dishes, each person receives a handmade chocolate gift box, adding warmth to the romantic occasion.

Taipei Sheraton Hotel is offering a “Sweet Romance” Valentine’s dinner on February 14. Anton’s Restaurant presents two French-style Valentine’s packages at NT$3,800+10% and NT$4,800+10%. The main courses include steamed grouper with artemisia sauce and pan-seared Australian wagyu ribeye steak with wine salt. The Twelve Chefs buffet, known for its international cuisine, offers a Valentine’s dinner menu at NT$1,520+10% per person. Diners who enjoy the French Valentine’s package at Anton’s or the Twelve Chefs buffet for two or more can receive a Sweet Romance white chocolate gift from Deli Bakery—a rich French white chocolate brick paired with a tangy citrus note (gifts are not cumulative and are available while supplies last). For those seeking a romantic evening blending music and food, Pizza House offers live performances by the renowned band D’SOUND, with a minimum spend of NT$1,600+10% per person.

For accommodations, Taipei Sheraton Hotel is running the “Love Forever” package for Taiwanese guests from February 14 (Friday) to February 16 (Sunday). During the promotion, the “Excel Suite” is available at NT$9,999+10% per night (original price NT$22,000+10%), including a complimentary double buffet breakfast the next day, two exclusive lover’s bathrobes, and a Sweet Romance white chocolate. The package is limited to 10 rooms.
