Taichung’s bubble tea shop “Qingshui Senji Tea” is often recommended by locals. The owner says their signature “Devil Boba” requires constant cooling and reheating during the cooking process to maintain the chewy texture of the boba and infuse the black sugar flavor. On average, it takes four hours to cook a pot of boba with black sugar until it’s ready to sell.

The rich aroma of black, green, oolong, and green tea, paired with a whole bottle of high-end fresh milk known as the “LV of the milk world,” plus black sugar devil boba pearls—this drink is made with genuine ingredients that are truly addictive. Since the boba pearls are already sweet from the black sugar, no extra sugar is added; only the ice level can be adjusted. Moreover, each cup comes with a whole glass bottle of high-end fresh milk, so if you choose “slightly iced” or “no ice,” the milk amount is fixed and won’t fill up the cup.

One drink is enough for a meal—the most filling beverage in Tainan！A single bubble tea is packed with fresh milk, mung beans, boba pearls, Job’s tears, and red beans. Ingredients alone take up six to seven-tenths of the cup. This super-generous drink costs just over 60 NT, and many nearby students say they rely on it on summer days when they can’t eat a full meal.

All ingredients in each drink are freshly cooked on-site. The menu features a “Healthy Add-ons” section where ingredients can be swapped for free—with only red beans and taro requiring an extra 5 NT. Generally, ingredients are filled up to half the cup, offering very hearty and generous portions. The shop doesn’t skimp on toppings—boba pearls, Job’s tears, mung beans, grass jelly, red beans, taro, and coconut jelly are all available for customers to pile in as much as they like.
