Cherry blossoms at Wuling Farm are in bloom！Three days ago, the first blossoms began to appear, with pink buds on the branches gradually opening up. Paired with the backdrop of plum blossoms, the park is starting to show signs of spring.Deputy farm manager of Wuling FarmWang Jinbiaosaid that currently the plum blossoms are in full bloom, while only about 10% of the cherry blossoms have opened. In the next two weeks, the cherry blossoms are expected to be in full bloom, so travelers planning to visit the farm for flower viewing can start reserving entry tickets soon and get ready for the blossom season.

Every year in February, Wuling Farm attracts large crowds of visitors to admire the cherry blossoms. This year (2014), the cherry blossoms are blooming slightly later than usual. Wang Jinbiao said that currently only about 10% of the cherry blossoms at Wuling Farm have bloomed. The farm estimates that the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom by February 15, but the exact date could still change due to weather fluctuations. Travelers planning to visit are advised to keep an eye on the farm’s latest updates to find the best time for flower viewing. In addition, all rooms at the farm are fully booked from the start of reservations until 228 Memorial Day. Travelers who wish to stay during the cherry blossom season are recommended to call and inquire about any temporary cancellations or available rooms.

Wuling Farm is gearing up for its annual cherry blossom viewing season, and the blossoms are currently still in bud. Wang Jinbiao pointed out that the entire farm has approximately 18,000 cherry trees, with seven main concentrated viewing areas such asthe gardens on both sides of the entrance, the area in front of the holiday medical station, the cherry blossom tunnel, the area in front of the tea house, the tea plantation, and the roads in front of and behind the Shei-Pa Management Station, where you can see rows of cherry trees or stretches about three kilometers long. Once the blossoms are in full bloom, the park will be engulfed in a sea of pink flowers – truly something to look forward to.

Aside from cherry blossom viewing, Wang Jinbiao also reminded visitors that since last year (2013), Wuling Farm has implemented a visitor quota system.During the cherry blossom season from February 12 to February 24, the maximum number of overnight guests per day is 1,800, and the daily limit for day-trippers is 4,200. Guests making hotel reservations or camping must register their vehicle license plates online before entering the farm.It is recommended that travelers apply as a group to enter as part of an organized tour, as the farm accepts bus applications daily. For individual visitors, it is advisable to purchase tickets at convenience stores beforehand and use public transportation to get there. Wang Jinbiao especially reminded that if individual travelers drive up the mountain without prior registration, not only will their vehicles be denied entry, they may also be turned away due to the visitor quota. As for the period from February 25 to March 1, which coincides with 228 Memorial Day holiday, the farm will adjust access control based on the condition of the cherry blossoms.
