Tourism Center / Comprehensive Report
This year marks the 53rd anniversary of Qingjing Farm, and one of its annual highlights — theSheep Rush Festival— will also take place this Saturday (the 8th). Visitors can enjoy the fun of role-playing as shepherds and witness the rare sight of sheep strutting down the road!
The Qingjing "Sheep Rush Festival" will kick off early on the 8th at the Green Green Grassland within the farm, with performances by the Indigenous Culture and Arts Troupe and a sheep shearing show presented by the New Zealand shepherd permanently stationed at the farm, ushering in the activities. Then the sheep will be let loose, allowing them to enjoy running freely on the streets. Visitors can also become "shepherds for a day," following the flock all the way to the National Hotel Plaza, where the event will conclude. Participants who stay for the entire experience may also receive a limited-edition souvenir gifted by Qingjing Farm.
However, with recent cooler weather and occasional rain across Taiwan, Qingjing Farm has also stated that according to the weather forecast, there is a 30% chance of rain this Saturday, but the event will proceed as scheduled as long as the rainfall is not heavy.
