There are also additions such as the “Germany Bonus Extension Ticket” (a discounted point-to-point rail ticket to be used with the German Rail Pass), which now includes the “Berlin–Kraków” route. Thalys “Northwest Trains” has also launched a new route from “Lille” to “Amsterdam” (available in April), and the “Eurail Select Pass” now offers “Slovakia” as an additional country option.

Additionally, travelers planning an independent trip to Europe this year are in luck. Domestic tourism operators, in collaboration with the Swiss Tourism Board and Swiss Travel Pass, have jointly organized the “Cycling in Switzerland Photo Contest.” The first prize includes a “round-trip free flight to Europe for one person,” an “eight-day first-class Swiss Travel Pass,” and a “Swiss Cycling Grand Map.” The event is judged by Chen Shouzhong, chairman of the Chinese Cycling Culture Association. Participants only need to plan their travel itinerary and share it on the Facebook event page to easily complete their submission. The submission deadline is February 28.
