Watching New Year's Eve fireworks is the most anticipated event for people across Taiwan. TGI Fridays' Xinyi and Miramar branches offer views of the Taipei 101 and Miramar fireworks respectively. This year, they will once again serve as prime fireworks-viewing restaurants, specially launching “New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Tickets.” These allow diners to enjoy an ultra-luxurious, store-exclusive New Year’s Eve set menu while experiencing the breathtaking fireworks show up close. The dinner tickets are priced at NT$1,800.

As the Christmas and New Year atmosphere builds, TGI Fridays, the leading American casual dining brand, has spotted an opportunity in year-end gatherings. From December 12, 2017, to January 8, 2018, for four consecutive weeks, it is offering the “2017 HIGH FIVE Double Delight Christmas & New Year Meal,” with options for a couple’s set or a group of four. The couple’s set is priced at NT$2,200 and the group set at NT$4,280, featuring seven classic American dishes: soup, appetizers, salad, a featured main course, chef’s selection, a specialty dessert, and a signature drink.

The “2017 HIGH FIVE Double Delight Christmas & New Year Meal” offers a choice of three chef-selected main courses: half a portion of double-sauce BBQ pork ribs with crispy chicken tenders, BBQ half-chicken with golden fried fish fillets, or slow-cooked beef brisket with New Orleans-style fried shrimp.
