Hike the Dragon Bone Trail and Pick Strawberries at Baishihu Mountain in Neihu – Witness Romance Under the Couple’s Tree

As spring returns, more and more people are taking advantage of the sunshine to visit nearby natural attractions and enjoy a relaxing outdoor lifestyle.

Located in Bishan Li, Neihu District, Baishihu Mountain boasts pleasant scenery and is close to the city, making it a popular weekend hiking destination for many residents in northern Taiwan. One of its most famous attractions is the Baishihu Suspension Bridge, which is designed in the shape of a dragon’s spine.

The Baishihu Suspension Bridge is approximately 116 meters long and is a large suspension bridge that spans a valley. After crossing the bridge and entering the Baishihu community, visitors can stroll through the mountain forests or head to Houhu Wetland to enjoy a tranquil waterside atmosphere. Couples can also visit the side-by-side “Couple’s Tree” to witness their love for each other.

In addition to its natural surroundings, the Baishihu community features several casual eateries and cafes, as well as strawberry orchards in the surrounding area. From December to May each year during the strawberry harvest season, many families visit to pick fruit, adding both delicious flavors and sweetness to their eco-friendly outing.
