Wang Xiaofei's beloved wife's hotel S Hotel opens today — the lobby walls are adorned with photos of Dawei

Wang Xiaofei’s first hotel investment and operation in Taiwan, S Hotel, grandly opened today (the 13th). Located in the bustling hotel district on Dunhua North Road, right next to the five-star Taipei Mandarin Oriental Hotel, it was designed by the French avant-garde designer Philippe Starck and built with an investment of 350 million Taiwanese dollars. At the press conference, his mother Zhang Lan and beloved wife Dawei both attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

In the past, Wang Xiaofei focused his investments on the food and beverage industry, but now he is expanding his business to the hotel sector. He named the S Hotel after his beloved wife, where the "S" also stands for “STARCK” and “Soul.” The hotel adopts a fashionable and modern style, and even collaborated with Q Jiarui and the French design master Philippe Starck to infuse artistic flair into the carpets, walls, and murals.

S Hotel has a total of three room types and 103 guest rooms, with pure white as the main design concept. From the bed linens and walls to the white sofas, the consistent white tone is maintained. Moreover, in every room type, the beds are not placed against the walls. Maintaining the cleanliness of the all-white rooms is particularly challenging, but the official statement assures a high standard of quality with no fingerprints or hairs left behind, adhering to the fashionable and modern style. Additionally, a major feature of the hotel rooms is the abundance of mirrors, designed by the French designer while also incorporating the personal preferences of Wang Xiaofei and Dawei, such as thoughtful details like in-room amenities and pink mirrored surfaces.
