North American routes "thriving" as EVA Air launches flights to Chicago and Houston in 2015

EVA Air Chairman Chang Kuo-wei stated today (4th) that North American routes are steadily growing, with five destinations set to see increased frequencies this year, and new services to Chicago and Houston launching next year.

In June, EVA Air will increase flights to Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles, offering three daily non-stop flights to Los Angeles and two to San Francisco. Additionally, EVA Air announced it will introduce three Boeing 777s this year and four more next year, marking the airline's "largest aircraft delivery period" since its launch. The airline also plans to sign contracts for at least ten additional Boeing 777s this year, solidifying the 777 as EVA Air’s mainstay aircraft.
