Cruise and flight packages offer Hong Kong land-sea-air travel experiences — starting from just HK$9,900 for a three-day, two-night trip

To serve the Asia-Pacific market, Star Cruises has redeployed its "SuperStar Virgo" to Hong Kong, launching cruise journeys including Hong Kong–Taiwan, Hong Kong–Sanya–Ha Long Bay, and a two-day, one-night Hong Kong itinerary, with a total of 31 voyages set to arrive in Taiwan.

For the two sailings from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung on April 7 and 9, Star Cruises has introduced a bundled cruise-and-flight vacation package that includes cruise accommodation, China Airlines tickets, and hotel stays in Hong Kong. Prices start at HK$9,900 for a three-day, two-night trip and HK$11,900 for a four-day, three-night trip.

Additionally, the first 88 travelers born under the zodiac sign of Virgo will receive a complimentary one-way cruise between Hong Kong and Taiwan, along with one night’s accommodation.

Apart from Hong Kong, the four-day, three-night Sanya–Ha Long Bay journey departing from Hong Kong starts at HK$18,800. Those who register between March 6 and 18 and can provide proof of previous travel on the SuperStar Virgo will also enjoy a “buy one, get one free” deal on the Hong Kong–Sanya–Ha Long Bay itinerary. Ng Ming-fat, Senior Vice President of Star Cruises’ Sales Departmentstated that among the 31 voyages arriving in Taiwan, some will call at Kaohsiung, Taichung, and Keelung, offering Taiwanese travelers more diverse cruise options. Travelers can also use Hong Kong as a gateway to extend their trips to places like Sanya and Ha Long Bay.

Hsu Wei-ni, Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board in Taiwanalso noted that the combination of cruises and airlines creates a new “Hong Kong land-sea-air” travel experience. Moreover, many sailings departing from Taichung fall on Fridays, making them especially convenient for travelers planning trips during this year’s long holidays.
