Taiwan-Korea Tourism Exchange Celebrity Baseball Game – Just 3 Receipts to Get In and Support Charity

To support charitable causes and promote Taiwan’s tourism, the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has specially invited the Korean Celebrity Baseball Team to come to Taiwan on March 16. The event will take place at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium, where they will play a charity match against the Taiwan Shining Stars Celebrity Baseball Team.

The Tourism Bureau stated that as Taiwan holds a respected position in international baseball competitions and cultural and tourism exchanges between Taiwan and Korea have become increasingly vibrant in recent years, the Korean Celebrity Baseball Team has been organizing charity baseball games both within Korea and overseas since 2011. With the support of the Taiwan Shining Stars Celebrity Baseball Team and other organizations, collective efforts have been made for this event.

There will be no public ticket sales for this charity event.Domestic and international visitors who present three official receipts issued between January and March 2014 can exchange them for one free admission ticket. All receipts, funds, and materials collected through the event, after deducting expenses, will be fully donated to the Starry Sky Children’s Foundation to support the care and housing of children with autism, helping them lead healthy and well-supported lives, and fostering a caring social atmosphere through acts of kindness. This event serves as an exemplary model of citizen diplomacy in terms of both tourism benefits and charitable impact.
