Tainan Garden Night Market Photography Contest Results Announced: Delicious Food Captured Beautifully in Photos!

Tainan Garden Night Market was recently selected by CNN as one of Taiwan’s top 10 unique attractions, and also ranked No. 1 on Taiwan’s “Most Popular Check-in Spot” list in 2013. To encourage more visitors to experience the charm of the night market, the city government organized a photography contest. The recent results have been announced, with first, second, and third place winners, as well as honorable mentions and commendations selected. The top three entries all feature aerial shots of the bustling night market filled with vendors and crowds.

The city government stated that the Garden Night Market currently hosts over 300 vendors. This time, a total of 255 entries were submitted, offering a rich variety of works, with 53 photos ultimately selected. These include panoramic views of the Garden Night Market, as well as local delicacies such as marinated snacks, golden eggs, salt and pepper chicken, pizza, a wide selection of stir-fried dishes, along with fun activities like fishing games, ring toss, and bead games. The contest captured all the exciting and delicious highlights of the night market.

The Tainan City Tourism Bureau noted that the award-winning photographs from this contest will be used for promoting Tainan tourism in the future. In addition to showcasing the photographers’ works in various promotional materials, they will also help the public discover where to find the best food and entertainment at Garden Night Market.
