Qiansongyuan Healthy Vegetarian Kitchen is a restaurant brimming with artistic flair. I first learned about this place from a friend’s blog post. Since it’s vegetarian, haha, to be honest, my first impression wasn’t particularly interested. But on a whim, I arranged to meet a friend here, and it turned out just like Granny Liu visiting the Grand View Garden — I was truly amazed by every single sight and object inside.

This is a scene right after entering. It’s not exactly an entrance hall, but it’s so artistic, right? It feels like stepping into a gallery. The little cat in the small pot next to it is the same one as in the photo above!!

On the first floor, besides the dining area, this section also sells some homemade products.

They used a weathered door panel as a partition for the entrance. It feels like just adding some text or placing a few items on the ground instantly gives it character. That’s the taste of an artist.

The same goes for the bamboo slices — just adding a few seemingly casual strokes makes them look very stylish, almost like totems.

Most of what is called art here isn’t meticulously designed or carved. The utensils used are things that most people wouldn’t even look twice at — like old cutting boards, door panels, bamboo tube slices~~~ But with skillful hands and uniquely creative ideas, each piece becomes something you can’t bear to leave behind and want to stop and admire again and again.

Even a wine bottle becomes lively with just a piece of paper-cut attached.

They offer rice, noodles, hot pot, and also set meals like the Happy Farmer Meal. The healthy vegetarian food here is all organic.

Hehe, it turns out it’s the creation of Mr. Lai Dongcai.

A soup that’s deliciously savory — the pickled cabbage hot pot.

A very healthy-looking plate of vegetables.

Noodle soup.

The flavors of these healthy vegetables really taste refreshing upon eating, and they feel like genuinely healthy, guilt-free meals. Plus, there’s no over-seasoning — it’s really great.

The second floor has space to accommodate more diners at once. Haha, to use a popular phrase, even the restroom here is quite the talking point. Don’t believe me? Come take a look.

This floor may not seem particularly special, but the artworks inside also add a lot to its charm.

Wooden boards, iron sheets, plus simple text — instantly become high-quality artworks.

“Medicine that cures pain,” haha. The materials used for these creations are all commonly found items, some even resembling trash~~~ But most people wouldn’t think to use them this way, right!? Haha, the vision of an artist is indeed different.

Even the partition on the electrical box can be this beautiful.

Just a few casual strokes, and an ordinary lamp base becomes extraordinarily tasteful.

Haha, it really opened my eyes. A healthy vegetarian kitchen combined with masterful creations results in an exceptionally tasteful art restaurant — and it’s also quite rare in the Yilan area.
