Switzerland values vocational education & 12 hotel hospitality management schools recruit in Taiwan

Switzerland is a country that feels both familiar and unfamiliar to most Taiwanese, but because Switzerland offers world-class courses in hotel and catering management, many choose to study there every year.The Swiss Trade Office will also host a hospitality management school education exhibition in Taiwan on March 22 and March 23, held at Swiss hotels in Kaohsiung and Taipei respectively, with a total of 12 hotel hospitality management schools from Switzerland participating.

The Swiss Trade Office stated that around 300 Taiwanese students go to Switzerland to study hotel management each year. Switzerland places great importance on vocational education talent, which is quite different from the culture in Taiwan. With the recent rapid development and changes in Taiwan’s hotel industry, there is now a shortage of internationally trained managerial talent. How to reach the level of a hotel manager in the shortest time possible is the main reason why Taiwanese students plan to study in Switzerland.

On March 30, the Swiss Trade Office will also hold a Swiss boarding school and parents' information session, where several representatives from well-known Swiss boarding schools will introduce relevant international secondary school programs and answer various questions during one-on-one consultations.
