Tokyo’s famous scream park “Yomiuri Land” celebrates its 50th anniversary this year (2014). To thank visitors for their continued support, free entry will be offered on March 19 and 20.

Located in Inagi City, Tokyo, Yomiuri Land is best known for its many thrilling rides.The park’s roller coaster was once ranked as the “world’s fastest roller coaster” in 1988.At night, the entire park is illuminated by hundreds of thousands of colorful LEDs, creating a spectacular display.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary, the park management has announced free entry on March 19 and 20. For those wishing to enjoy all the rides and watch the sea lion show, the regular adult one-day pass originally priced at 4,000 yen (about NT$1,200) will be available at a discounted price of 3,600 yen (about NT$1,080), while the child one-day pass will be reduced from 3,000 yen (about NT$900) to 2,800 yen (about NT$838).
