In the bustling streets of Shibuya, Tokyo, Luffy and Goku are actually fighting in the middle of the street. It turns out this is part of the promotion for the 45th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump, featuring the PS3/PS Vita game "J-Stars Victory VS." Japan's long-running manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump, published by Shueisha, has now been in circulation for 45 years. To commemorate this milestone and also celebrate the 20th anniversary of another manga and gaming magazine, V Jump, Japanese game company Bandai Namco Games created the crossover action game "J-Stars Victory VS." The game features a wide array of popular manga characters from both publications, allowing players to enjoy battles between characters from different series.

The 10-meter-wide, 8-meter-tall "Luffy vs. Goku" scene shows Goku preparing to unleash his Kamehameha, while Luffy uses his signature Gear Second move—Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gun. Even the floor cracking from the impact is rendered in vivid detail. In front of the scene, there are buttons labeled "O, X, △, □"—pressing them plays voice lines from Luffy and Goku!

And the security guard standing nearby,who also appears in the photo, has caught people’s attention. Many netizens joked, “Is that a guard or is it Officer Dende?”“So even Officer Dende is here keeping watch~,” adding even more fun to the scene. The "Luffy vs. Goku Battle" installation will be on display until the 23rd at the Park Hyatt Plaza in front of Shibuya PARCO. Anime fans who want to see the showdown in person shouldn’t miss it.
