World-renowned chefs gather in Taiwan: Michelin-quality cuisine available in Taipei, Kaohsiung, Yilan, and Hualien

The three visiting chefs, together with the group’s executive corporate chef, will host gourmet events lasting two to three days at Taipei Regent Taipei, Lancheng Regent, Taroko Regent, and Just V Restaurant at Silks Hotel Kaohsiung.

Regent Hotels & Resorts, headquartered globally in Taipei, will invite executive chefs from its properties in Berlin (Germany), Beijing (China), and Phuket (Thailand) to Taiwan from March 20 to 23. The three visiting chefs, together with the group’s executive corporate chef, will host gourmet events lasting two to three days at Taipei Regent Taipei, Lancheng Regent, Taroko Regent, and Just V Restaurant at Silks Hotel Kaohsiung.

This marks the first time Regent Hotels & Resorts has gathered its hotel chefs together for such an event, presenting a rare large-scale gourmet festival among international luxury hotel brands. As a Taiwanese enterprise owning this international brand, Regent Taipei and Regent Hotels & Resorts aims to bring such exceptional international resources to Taiwan
 

The first of the three guest chefs invited this time isChef Christian Lohse from Fischers Fritz at Hotel Berlin, Berlin, who has been awarded two Michelin stars for seven consecutive years.Chef Christian will take over Robin’s Restaurant on the second floor of Taipei Silks Place, presenting six exquisite art-cooked lunches and dinners from March 20 to 22. He is known for using contemporary culinary techniques to showcase the essence of European cuisine, and is also the creator of the “Menu Blanc” concept — a completely open menu with no pre-set dishes.

The second chef introduced is Executive Chef Song Litao fromBeijing Regent Hotel.With over 20 years of rich culinary experience, Chef Song is proficient in various Western cuisines and skilled at blending the unique characteristics of Eastern and Western traditional ingredients to create contemporary dishes. This time, Chef Song will head to Silks Place Chiangrai, where he will present a series of his signature cold and hot dishes at the hotel’s Lan City Buffet from March 21 to 22. He will also serve the dish he once cooked for former U.S. President George H. W. Bush.

The chef who will be taking up a guest residency at Silks Place Taroko isExecutive Chef Justin Baziuk from Cape Panwa Resort Phuket.Known for his outgoing personality, Chef Justin has culinary experience across Australia, China, the Middle East, and more. He specializes in interpreting ingredients from different countries and is adept at using mixed cooking methods to highlight the unique qualities of fresh local produce. From March 21 to 22, guests who book the “Exclusive Gourmet Stay Package” can enjoy a chef-created French-style set dinner in the exclusive dining space of the Residence Lounge. Meanwhile, the buffet at Wesley’s Western Restaurant will also feature specially prepared cold and hot dishes by the chef.
