TransAsia Airways Group’s first low-cost carrier in Taiwan, V Air, held its first flight attendant recruitment interview at Songshan Airport on March 21. TransAsia stated that during the application period, over 1,800 résumés were received, and on the 21st, a 97% attendance rate was recorded. Aside from Taiwanese candidates, there were also applicants from Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and other countries, including many current foreign airline service staff. In total, over 1,000 people came to take the test, packing the airport to the brim. With an expected recruitment of 80 flight attendants, the acceptance rate is about 4.4%.

Gao Zhihua, spokesperson for TransAsia Airways, stated that for this V Air flight attendant recruitment,the male proportion is around 20%,which is higher than the previous one-in-ten ratio seen in other airlines. V Air has also scheduled its final selection rounds on March 26, April 2, and April 3.
