Christmas romantic light seas aren’t only in Japan — Thailand’s “million LEDs” light up the night in a super romantic display

Romantic Christmas light seas in Asia aren’t only in Japan. To keep up with Japan, Thailand also held the 2017 Christmas Illumination Festival this year. Aside from becoming a new romantic attraction, it’s also a charity event, with all revenue going to charitable foundations. Millions of LED lights will light up Bangkok’s nights.

The inspiration for the Thailand Illumination Festival (Thailand Illumination Festival 2017) actually comes from Japan. Every winter, when December arrives, cities across Japan are lit up with dazzling lights, each developing their own unique illuminated seascape tourism. To attract more tourists, amusement parks and shopping malls also light up, making it an annual winter Japanese tradition.

The light sea covers a total area of 62,400 square meters and is open to the public free of charge from now until January 6, 2018. Although Thailand remains hot during Christmas, you can still feel the romantic Christmas atmosphere. Travelers visiting Thailand in December can swing by to experience it. In addition, the Apollo Thailand Countdown event will be held on December 31, 2017, in the magnificent and romantic illuminated garden.
